Today was the final day for my British Contemporary Fantasy Literature class. During out class time this morning, our class started talking about C.S. Lewis and The Chronicles of Narnia, which was the subject upon which the tutorial for this class had begun, eight weeks ago. Our discussion was quite interesting, especially the section in which we talked about what the proper order for The Chronicles of Narnia is (as there is some discrepancy).
This afternoon, our British literature tutorial was comprised of each of us having individual one-on-one meetings with the tutorial leader for our oral examinations. I thought that this oral examination went very well. Tomorrow, I am going to the office hours of this class’s teacher to find out my grade.
Tonight has been packing and laundry and more packing. I had tea and dinner with Megan, who made me an inventive dish that mimicked biscuits and gravy but was made of gravy (milk, water, flour, salt, pepper) mixed into plain cornflakes. Then the whole dish could be seasoned according to the taste of the one eating it. It was surprisingly good, though it containing cereal provided a bit of a mental block.
Tomorrow also means a trip to the Stadtbüro to de-register with the city of Marburg!
