Tag Dreiundfünfzig (Day Fifty-Three)

Today was a day of a few “firsts.” My first Monday tutorial, my first visit to a German post office, and my first purchase of a fountain pen. Today’s tutorial for British literature went well, and my reading is coming along nicely (though I still have not finished The Fellowship of the Ring.) My first visit to a German post office, with the intentions of acquiring international stamps, was a bit of a bust, as the lines were incredibly long. I am going to go back again tomorrow and try once more. I needed more pens for taking notes, and fountain pens are very popular here. Even children use them for note-taking. I love writing with a calligraphy pen, so I decided to give fountain pens a try. They are definitely amazing. They can be acquired (the non-fancy ones) just as cheaply as ballpoint pens.
