This morning, our language class seemed to drag constantly. The teacher was constantly correcting members of our class for simple pronunciation and grammar mistakes, which they should have known better than to be doing at this level. On the good side, it at least rained while we were in class. However, during our break, my teacher asked me if I was bored in this class, or if it was moving too slowly for me. I told her that while the class was moving quite slow for me, it was serving to concrete concepts with which I was already familiar. Plus, as we have only a week and one day remaining, not a lot can be done about what we are learning that has not already been planned. I did mention a few topics to her that I would be interested in working on between now and the end of the pre-semester, and she took my suggestions quite well.
Today’s topic for History & Culture class was on German media and the effects of newspaper, television, and the Internet on German society. This evening is going to be full of fun study times for tomorrow’s weekly test.
