Without internet in my dorm room, I have turned to merely stepping out on my patio, feeling the relative warmth (or cold), and comparing it to the previous day in order to fathom and educated guess at what the weather of day shall be. This morning, I deemed it to be a bit cooler than it has been in recent days, prompting not only the wearing of a sweater, but also the consumption of a delicious oolong (acquired in good ol’ San Luis Obispo) with breakfast. For those who may not share my level of tea fanaticism (haha…not that that is a bad thing, by any means), oolong is known to warm the body up, despite whether the tea itself be cool or warm. (Conversely, green tea is known to cool the
body down, again despite the temperature of the tea.)
This second day of class was much the same as the first. Caught the bus at 8:30, arrived at the big, old church in town, near which my class is held, at 8:45, got out of class at 1:30 this afternoon for a brief break for grabbing a quick lunch before coming back to the same building as in which class was held, this time for a movie in German (“Friendship!” http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1247657/ )
Now I am at the Mensa (our student union/cafeteria…more to come on it later) having an early dinner and doing my homework before heading home for a relaxing evening of…who knows what? Something fun and relaxing, I hope.
