Today was relatively uneventful. During language class we worked on writing in the past tense by each starting a story with the prompt “Last year…” and then every five minutes passing the story on which we were working to the person on our right for them to continue. The more people that worked on a story, the stranger it became. Our teacher also played some (strange) German folk music for us today.
As we had a shortened lunch hour, I decided to go pick up some cheese bread that had caught my eye in a bakery two shops down from the last one of which I spoke. This bakery had cheese rolls that were better, and cheaper, than the cheese “rods” from yesterday.
This evening I also finally got a working internet connection in my room. While the bandwidth is capped, I do not spend a tremendous amount of time in my room online, I have unlimited internet usage while on campus, and it is better than nothing for keeping in touch. In fact, I am about to submit this blog post from my room in real-time, not from on campus the following day.
I also rearranged my room for the third time in the past week. Eventually I will be able to find a setup that works and feels perfectly.
Time to study for tomorrow’s quiz!
