Tag Dreiundsiebzig (Day Seventy-Three)

The term is officially halfway complete. Looking back on these past four weeks of the regular-semester, I notice how fast the days have passed. During the pre-semester, when I had classes on a daily basis from nine in the morning until four in the afternoon, the days appeared to pass by much slower, because of my time spent in class. On the other hand, as I now have much less in-class time and much more out-of-class work, the days seem to move faster in this regular-semester.

I have enjoyed my two classes quite a lot, and my tandem program has been a great experience. Last night was a lot of fun, hanging out with my tandem partner and talking. We plan to take a day trip to Frankfurt in the next couple of weeks. Additionally, there is the study abroad-group trip to Nürnberg to which to look forward.

Today I focused on starting new things. Having finished Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, I picked out a topic for my response paper and outlined that. I also made some progress on upcoming presentations, and I began reading Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep by Philip K. Dick, our next book to be read for my science fiction class.
