Presentations take a very long time to create…when you are asked to put in-text, MLA citations in your presentation. Now, I certainly do not have an explanation for why this was a necessary requirement for our presentation. After all, the presentation is not being turned into the teacher, and thus the citations will never be checked. Additionally, it would seem to me that having in-text citations on presentation slides would merely add another aspect of distraction, which is something I have always been informed was not a good thing. However, in the end I got the presentation finished. This was my fifteen-minute presentation regarding “Where is the magic in the Lord of the Rings: Magical Objects” for my British literature class (not the tutorial).
Tomorrow I just need to create the handout (to accompany the presentation) and re-examine my schedule for next term before registration comes around on Monday. Good night.
