Tag Vierundsechzig (Day Sixty-Four)

Today was one of those free days where the best thing to do is to try to get as far ahead with work as possible. I cannot say I got very far ahead, but I did get ahead. At the end of November, I have a decent number of papers and presentations due, some of which pertain to books that I have already read or am in the process of reading. So, my thinking was to go ahead and start some of these projects.

Another very exciting opportunity was presented to me. My British literature teacher has a friend, who teaches English at a local junior high school (or the German equivalent). This friend contacted my teacher, who in turn contacted the four American/Canadian foreign students in her class (me being one of them). She was interested in having a native English speaker come and talk with her class, both in general and about Native Americans and how they fit into the American society today. None of the times for the 8th grade classes conflicted with my classes, and so I responded. Now I am waiting to see what the teacher will tell me.
