Today’s sci-fi class was…illuminating. Unfortunately, the teacher did not see it as such. The reason for both of these statements was that our conversations, based around the Three Laws of Robotics, verged into ethical and psychological territory that went over the heads of the teacher and a majority of the students. I was lucky to be able to keep up with the conversation, despite minimal contributions to the topic (it got a bit out of hand and the teacher eventually cut it off after 20 minutes).
